These group are run separately for adults and children over 10 years .
We explore challenges in your households and with your children, supporting you to find strategies to manage challenging behaviour, looking at diffusing confrontation, parental presence, focusing on the main issue first then working on the smaller issues, rebuilding the relationship, identifying support networks, gaining a support network within the group, self-care.
This group focuses on building emotional awareness through empathising and understanding others and sharing experiences, creating a supportive environment for them to identify negative core beliefs and challenge those beliefs to find more realistic ones, finding, positive descriptions of themselves and identifying their strengths.
